Torque-tube ‘53 Chevy rear with springs for $1800. This is the type of rear that can only hook up to certain transmissions and makes engine/trans swaps a royal paint in the arse, are too weak to take big power even if you could hook a bigger motor up to it, have crappy ratios, aren’t posi and have drum brakes.
In other words, unless you are doing a restoration this is exactly the sort of rear someone would yank in favor of nearly any other, better, rearend. Which I am guessing this guy did and is now trying to offload it at about 2000% of it’s value.
